You should be ashamed of being on track for 30 deals... you dont get a reputation for that you get out of the business cause your broke.

I completely agree with you. I have issues with the way some in our profession treat their clients! The public has a bad impression of Realtors because of this type of garbage. The public should be informed!
In my Real Estate board, we have full disclosure. It is mandatory that a sellimg agent disclose his remuneration to the buyers. It us because of shady ethics that this has been imposed. What a shame!

Grow up or get out of the business if you don't like it. It happens all the time. I don't think it's wrong and I don't think "in house bonuses" are wrong either.

I hear you man. I work in FL and they offer $20,000 bonuses for some of these new condos. It's awful tempting to only show these new homes instead of all the other homes with no bonuses. I will still show everything available though.

No mulehoss, I'm not crying about anything. I'm pointing out an unethical practice--sometimes unintentionally so--practiced by some in my industry. That's not crying--that's shooting straight with the public.
If you knew anything about real estate--the average realtor sells 6 houses a year--you'd know my 30 is hardly due to my fear of competition. Please don't make a fool of yourself when you post.
And the silly threats--juvenile to say the least.

As I'm on track to sell 30 houses this year so I don't think I should get out of the business. If you are so sanguine about how ethical this practice is why don't you state your real name and the brokerage for which you work? Your answer represent the sleazey minority of realtors that taints my reputation and it is not appreciated at all.
We look forward to hearing who you really are so others can know where you stand.
