Robin Thomas is a popular US instructor well known for his musicality. I am not saying his technique is perfect. Even though he is not a native Argentine we are always happy to learn from him. It is not always possible to get pure Argentines who have grown up in all the technique of tango. For me to criticize his technique would not be fair from this video. I would suggest if you have comments about his dancing that you contact him. Obviously I think the video has some merit.

Estimado, el merito es que difunde el tango, la dificultad es que la tecnica que demuestra induce a error a sus alumnos, y estos copian y multiplican sus falencias...

I never miss a Robin Thomas class when he happens to be at a workshop I'm attending. He's a very clear teacher, his classes give excellent tips on the dance, and most of all you will have the time of your life! The guy is hilariousl

Robin is a dream to dance with (and i have danced with many many hundreds of leaders). he's so musical and so fun and leads to cleanly and smoothly. it's just an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. though people have made some unkind comments about Briggita (and btw i'm of the school of thought that if you can't say something nice say nothing at all), if you know anything about tango you will know that she's actually very musical in her following in this performance.

Brigitte is a great dancer, but this video doesn't show her at her best. There may be various reasons for that, which I can't possibly assess especially as I don't know Robin, but her unflattering and unstylish outfit must be one of them.

Robin Thomas has given more to help inspire and grow tango in the US than anyone I have encountered in my time as a dancer.

He gives constantly, and is always open to learn more.

He has helped launch the careers of many of todays upcoming tango dancers and is considered by many of the tango queens to be one of the most interesting and musical dancers around.

When Robin dances it inspires others to dance. When Robin teaches it inspires others to dance. Thos who do not know, will not.

evidentemente no estas de acuerdo porque lo mejor que has visto es esto y no mas...te falta conocer mucho para poder tener un punto de comparacion...y cuando lo tengas estaras de acuerdo conmigo..
