Well if u r worried that a stingray is going to sting u it really dosent want to it might sting in selfdefense also when going in waters with stingrays shovel your feet and kick up the sand u never know if the ray will sting u on the foot wich is the most common way

It's cool to swim with them, but I would watch out.. After all it's an animal and even though it's "used to people" you never know what its instincts will tell it to do.
