I'd say no.. You need lot of power or a dual core. To run on a celeron you need to set everything on Very Low.. So you will end-up with a flat scenery, no clouds, nothing. Buy a computer! It's so cheap these days.

mine an intel celeron 530 1gb ram and mobile intel 965 express chipset family, is it allright?

mine is 1.73 too. Intel Centrino Duo. 1GB ram. With some tweaks FSX can be quite playable even with some sceneries and 3D clouds.

what GHz is it? mine is 1.73GHZ do you think i could play it smoothly, i am not bothered about the graphics but would it lag?
