  • How the Z=x+yi numbers called in english ??? thouhght it was irrational

  • @DrPsymotion z = x + yi is a "complex number". If there is no 'x' part, just 'yi', then it is sometimes called an "imaginary number".

Irrational numbers are numbers that cannot be written as fractions, or that cannot be written as repeating decimals. Numbers such as pi, e, and the square root of 2 are irrational.

  • It's not square rooting.it's finding the square root!

  • @Aquapearl123 Many thankings for the correctioning!
