"Path to Paradise" was released in 1997; a made-for-TV movie from HBO, it is about the bombing of the WTC that occurred in Feb 1993. The ending of this movie is chilling in its prophecy, only now apparent after Sept 11, 2001.

That final line is absolutely bone-chilling. And the ironic thing is, it would be chilling even if 9/11 hadn't happened, because after the 1993 attack, the fear and possibility of another attack was always lingering in our minds, much like it does today.

I never understood why terrorists wanted the World Trade Center destroyed so badly. I mean obviously they were huge structures carrying thousands of people, but why not structures with significant value, such as the Statue of Liberty or the Empire State Building?

I'm not saying that the lives of people aren't a significant value, which they certainly are more important than anything, but the World Trade Center were just buildings with barely value to our country other than for corps and banks.
