On the way back from Foula it was like 'Boys' fun-time!

Our skipper, John Tulloch and his crew had a well kept secret whilst we were on the island for a few hours. Only thing is we only found out when they returned to pick us up! It was enough to make a keen fisherman like me feel green with envy as they had done a spot of fishing, and caught huge cod and pollack by the bucketload.

On the return journey John filleted the fish and thrown some scraps overboard to hungry great skuas (bonxies), fulmars and gulls. Surprisingly we did not see many gannets but they were mostly seen on the other side of Foula in the 'Da Kame' area. But there were lots of bonxies often trying to steal catch from other seabirds. John's fishing gave this opportunity to shoot this video and take some photographs of the bonxies and gulls divebombing for the discarded scraps.

With thanks to John Tulloch and his crew for allowing us to take photographs, videos, and for a fantastic cruise.
