  • I've been wanting to buy a copy of Watchmen for my movie collection. Which version should I buy? I like watching the documentaries, commentaries, and special features. Is the ultimate version the best for the money?

  • @jakesmeltz1 Absolutely. Some good features on the Director's Cut but more on the Ultimate, plus you get the Under the Hood short and the Black Freighter short. Also the motion comic is pretty good, for a motion comic.

  • Alright, I know you must get asked this every freakin day and I'm sorry, but I'm about to lose my mind if someone doesn't tell me what the intro song is. I looked in the description, profile, I even did a google search for "Bad dah duh ba dah dum" which yielded few results. You cut the intro at the exact moment the singer is about to say something that would be useful in a google search. Bah.

  • @Diozakrod91 lol I credited it right at the end of the final part of this review. It's "Backyard Super Kid" by Justin Roberts.

  • Your voice sounds exactly like Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds.

  • @XxDom23XX You're the second person who's left that comment! I guess I should watch that and see what you're talking about...

  • Also, is the directors cut and the ultimate cut the same or is the more story in the ultimate cut?

  • @antitroll890 Frank Miller<Alan Moore

  • finally have internet back, and i finally get to see this, ive been waiting for this review

  • Frank Miller>Alan Moore

  • I don't agree that film is an inferior medium to books(if that's what you meant). There are some films that would not work as well as a book in the same way that certain books don't work as well as a film. The Godfather for instance, is a better movie than it is a book. So is Fight Club, The Dark Knight, Forrest Gump and many other stories.

  • Holy shit. I can't believe this movie is almost three years old. I remember when I first saw this movie in March 2009. Time went by fast.

  • @Geekvolution Wow, that guy does some pretty interesting "children's" music. Thanks for the reply. I can't believe I didn't think to check the credits.

  • One of my favorite books and movies ever. I personally think that the movie is as similar to the book as it possibly could have been. in my opinion the fans spend too much time comparing their subjective experience of the novel to the film. I agree that the book was better but i like that you wish to see thr film on its own merits.
