This soup is great ... Made it three times and each time I need to cook it a little longer than 1 1/2 plus must let it sit to coagulate

Beautiful recipe. I made split pea soup today, but I use smoked sausage, potatoes, and lots of garlic and cayenne pepper. Basil, oregano and parsley add extra dimensions.
