My favorite film of all time! But why is this cut off? I'd love to see the rest of it!

The articulated sweep of the strings at 1:30+ is masterful. Stellar performance.

Hahaha, I'm the 1948th viewer (the year the film was released!). Anyone knows where the heck could I find this sheet score? I want to make a piano arrangement!

I was there, with Brian Easdale's family. It was a superb evening and marvellous to see this music being given it's first ever public performance from the original score, complete with the Ondes Martenot (thank you Cynthia Millar)

Indeed! Great host Richard E Grant, great
conductor John Wilson, great music, the
opportunity to listen to film music in a row
of marvels. I enjoyed all the show
and must say I was touched by Richard
Attenborough's words. He is a remarkable
and intelligent director. Congratulations
to you and Mr. Easdale's family! Wonderful Cynthia Millar! I was at her
Concertgebouw Turangallila:
a unique experience!
