I would support higher taxes for many specific causes because its a tax... meaning I wouldn't be the only one paying for it.

I would not support a higher tax specifically for myself because that makes absolutely no sense... it would be better to just make a donation.

However, I would support a national tax because that would generate a lot more money for the greater good of society than donations alone.

While he may be requiring more money from America in taxes than ever before, he is executing the only strategy we have as a country at the moment due to Bush's arrogance: Socialism.

Evansville, I have done the research, I know a lot more breakthroughs have come out of adult stem cells than embryonic. Although, a large part of that could be because of the ban on embryonic stem cell research here in the US.

Just because adult stem cells have produced more results does not mean we shouldn't be doing embryonic stem cell research.
