  • Well, things we'd classify these days as obscene comes from the Ancient Greek times. They made gay jokes, they swore, they made dick jokes, they made general rude jokes.

So yeah, there's your answer- at least from 1100BC, but probably earlier.

If we're talking about like, words like fuck and stuff, those come from the time of Chaucer.

So yeah. Hope I helped somewhat haha.

  • @IchHeisseNinja Thanks :)

  • I would say the c word is by far the worst of our slurs. It's the only " swear word " I still sort of cringe when I hear it. Overall though, I don't get offended or understand why people do get offended when they hear " bad words ". I don't see any words as " cursing/cussing " anymore.

  • FUCK comes from the acronym for Fornication Under Consent of the King. in olden days commoners had to receive permission from the king to have sex.

  • @Homebrand91 nah cunt is so much worse than "bitch" and isn't on the same level as "Dick" at all. Dick is used very commonly

  • @OGfrom650 It hurts women just like calling them a bitch.

  • @Supersupee you mean cunt? wtf what are you 7? cunt cunt cunt cunt. it doesnt hurt anybody.

  • @rehdogg I really don't approve of or use swearing in backchat or to offend someone. I pretty much only use it around friends in a non hostile way as do most people i know, but thats no excuse to use it around people that don't want to hear it

  • @Homebrand91 What about the B word?

  • @Supersupee The c word has the same connotations as DICK, but i live in australia so im pretty use to it

  • i think the c word is very obscene and filthy
