I hit myself like at least 2 or so times on my skin (my ankle) Whilek hacking witrh a flaming hacky. Unless you're an idiot enough to like FALL ASLEEP with it on your body, you wont get burned. That badly.
This is officially the stupidest thing I have ever seen. Some kids will not understand the safety side of this "idea." It will be played indoors, because how can you absolutely assure that ALL use will be outside, with water close by..... and a "blanket" Small kids will improvise their own fire footbag when mom and dad won't buy them one. Too many kids are already burned each year.
Then knives shouldn't be sold because how can you assure that ALL use will be as intended and follow safety precautions. Kids will stab other kids, they'll improvise their own knives because parents won't buy them knives. Too many kids are stabbed each year. Quit trying to sell fear. Dangerous products exist. It's up to parents to make sure kids are smart enough not to get hurt and if they're at an age where that's not possible then they shouldn't be left alone long enough to get hurt.
I loved doing this! The only thing that sucks is the game doesn't last long because the fire burns through the outside of the hacky sack. Would be cool if you could find something that was more resistant to burning.
