  • hey man i have an lg r400 which had a broken jack power, so i had to fix it myself, and thank god, i finally found a video showing another lg laptop similar to mine. thank you for making this video

  • @HamayunShah Just glad my video could help cause I know when I had to do this I had to figure out how to do all this on my own there's not alot of info on these LG laptops and notebooks, if you hav eany questions regarding this laptop or your laptop let me know.

  • That laptop is too hard...

My asus pop off 2 screws and you add the HDD that simple.

  • @lil0egy0kid Ahaha it wasnt that hard but would be nice if it was only two screws like alot of other laptops.

  • @klipsch19604 I didnt even know LG made laptops.

  • @lil0egy0kid Lol not many do know they make them, for this things size and weight it packs alot of power :D

  • Hi! Thank your verym much for this video. Was longing so long to find anything like this.

With my LG I had a problem to remove the top aluminium cover. It somehow sticked on the upper side towards the hinges. So I broke my cover on the side frames which are very weak.

This hdd replacement changed my mind about the LG notebooks. At first I really loved it but when you need to change the hd it is a torture.

  • Nice job! Works as well with a very similar LG P300.

    A couple of comments though:

    1) You unscrewed too many screws. The two near rear feet (left and right of the battery) and the two small behind the keyboard in the center were not necessary.

    2) To upgrade memory/clean cooling system one only has to remove keyboard. This is done by unscrewing two screws with a keyboard sign. I suggest cleaning cooling system regularly (at least once a year). The laptop becomes much cooler after that.

  • Great video! Keep up the good work bro!
