As much as I love megabats, with their amazing faces, it's a pity they're forced to be the ambassadors of their mammalian family--fruit bats are so cute, but, like megabats, other bats are in real trouble. They may not be "cute", but the "ugly" bats need protection from habitat loss, too! Their strangely cartillage'd faces, no matter the shape, are superbly adapted to whatever their prey. They keep bugs from enveloping the earth, and they pollinize fruit and spread seeds. Save ALL bats!
