@mrbrianmccarthy It's also called popular or junk science and is nothing to do with the science you learn at school as in the periodic table or laws of physics. Dawkins followers who know very little about basic scientific facts love books on popular science.

You nailed it "Truther girl"---People arent "Turning against Science"---They're turning against "industry backed pseudo science",where the "scientists" are being paid by the industries to make false claims about the "Healthfulness" of their product.Agreat case in point is the tobacco industry! Look at how they lied about their product! Just because someone is called a scientist,doesnt mean that they are using real science to back up the claims they are making.People must always remember that.

That is the problem. Instead of people listen to real scientists, they listen to fake scientists.
Vaccine is a double edged sword, and should be carefully used so we don't end up relying on it too much.
Natural immune system is the way to go unless the disease is too dangerous to risk it.
