Heyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!

So I have been natural for some years now and I have recently decided to go back to relaxers, For me, my reason for going natural was a little different than others. There was a time when I was very stressed and not eating right or taking very good care of my hair and it showed!!! I have always had very thick full hair with nice length but during that time I did not know my own hair!!! It was trying to tell me things and I wasnt listening and I just kept damaging it and damaging it. I got to the point where I didnt want to wear it down anymore or do anything to it for that matter, So I decided to put it up into micros until I got some type of direction. I wore braids for almost a year and I noticed how much growth and thickness I had on the natural hair so I thought-hey this is how I can get my hair back! So Basically my plan was to never stay natural but to use it to get my hair's length and thickness back. Now I have the knowledge and know how to retain my length and encourage growth so I decided to go back to relaxers. To me hair is hair- its not a big deal. If it dosent work one way try something else, cut it start over whatever! Im easy like sunday morning! So as I have said many times before whatever your choice is, relaxed or natural, you can have beautiful healthy hair! I dont pass judgement on anyone because that hair is not on my head so I dont care what you do with yours- all I ask is you give me the same courteousy.

  • The first relaxer after having relaxed hair always looks good. It's because the hair was healthy from being natural. I think you look better natural and could have straightened your hair with roller sets on a regular basis with no damage, but to each his own. Just remember to work hard so it won't start to break off.

  • @411blah411 All of my relaxers since have been just as great! I appreciate you saying that I look better natural but I have never worn my natural hair on YouTube. If you're speaking of in this video thats not how my natural hair looks. It had crinkle and wave in it from me taking down the sew in and it was dirty. I tried rollersets, it dosent get my hair straight as I prefer it- even with relaxed hair while im stretching it dosent so for my lifestyle the relaxer was DEFINITELY the best choice.

  • I'm currently natural with highlights but I made the decision to relaxe my hair but I was wondering if you can have relaxed hair over my highlights. Will it make my highlighted hair fall out or do I have cut my hair and start all over again?

  • @LilacStar82 No you dont have to cut it off. You can have relaxed hair and colored hair. If you look at my hair at the beginning of this video I had a lot of golden blonde and brown hair on my ends. I didnt cut it I just put a rinse over it because I wanted black hair. As long as you are not doing the color and relaxer at the same time you should be ok. Just make sure that your colored hair is in a healthy state before you get a relaxer. Hope this helps!!!

  • has anyone ever told you you look kinda like an older kiki palmer with your relaxed hair? well at least to me anyway.

  • @Momiji101 Yes!!! LOL!!! My friend Chimere tells me that all the time.

  • @yettycinder No its not. It's just hair. Hair should fit your lifestyle.

  • I am sooooo glad someone posted this cause I AM TIREEEDDD of all my friends saying I'm trying to be white because I'm tired of being natural, and telling me i'm gonna go bald and i'm not representing who I really am by wanting to get a relaxer. I DO NOT like the natural look on me, is that a crime???!!! lol,

  • @YoungNMarried You better leave that beautiful head of hair alone girl!!! LOL!!! Break out the flat iron if you want straight hair but if you love your natural hair stick with it!! Oh and congrats on your little one mama <3
