This is a Video Art piece that I created for school that was selected to be in an art show. It is somewhat controversial in part because the sensitive topic of race.
This piece was influenced by the attorney general of the United States Eric Holder when he was quoted stating America is a nation of cowards his quote of America being cowards was directed at issues of race and race relations within America and how people of this nation are afraid to talk about issues of race. Unfortunately, the deep divide has still to this day never been addressed and this is my attempt at talking about some of the issues within black America.
This short piece does not go into detail about the ideas that are expressed but I will be happy to explain the piece further if there are any questions. Please comment about the piece and express how you feel. There are no right or wrong opinions and I hope this topic will educate people.
Note: This is not a traditional video (hence video art) there is a lot of symbolism and the editing was done a specific way to provoke a certain emotion.

  • I got plugs in my ears and fucked up clothes and SOME people are always surprised by how articulate I am. It works out great, cause I know early on the ignorance in these dumbasses. Theres alot of black leaders still banking on the racist thing, its why theres still this complex among black people. Id love to see the day Sharpton and Jackson are gunned down by an intelligent aware blackman.

  • @azrial4421 I am trying to understand your comment in relation to the video. Can you elaborate more; I will be sure to comment back if you do.

  • @agnosticautonomy You should not be judged by your style or race, and Sharpton has made millions exploiting the ignorance of black people, he will be out a job if racism dies. I liked Eric Holders comment at first, but he did not mean it the way I thought. I was thinking we are cowards cause we dont address tax funded orgs that support people only if they fit a racial criteria. BTW I totally agree with you on the difference of African immigrants and black americans, very different attitudes.

  • its funny how blacks speak out against slavery yet the jews helped finance the slave trade and MLK spoke about the promised land that jesus promised yet the baptist church and many more black churches support Israel and send money to support Israel, the very people that financed their slavery

  • I think at 3:40 you hit the nail on the head dude...how can you as a black race overcome racial stereotypes and a racial glass ceiling, so to speak, if the government keeps coddling the idea that the black race needs help through welfare, affirmative action, etc etc. Blacks deserve a government that sets them free of the idea that they NEED these things.

if you tell someone they need help over and over and over again, sooner or later, they begin to believe it...
