Goat Mating: "snickering"

Here is a great shot of Bourbon "snickering" at the does. In the background you can hear Tom telling me about how goat pregnancies must be spaced a good distance apart, or it will hurt the health of the doe and the quality of the kids. He is telling about a nanny who got pregnant again 2 months after giving birth. Her next batch of kids had 4 bucks and one doe. The little doeling had no eggs, she was infertile. Since the mother got pregnant too fast her body wasn't strong enough to give the proper nourishment to the babies.
