I do not need to deny it, especially Uncle Walter, because it is such utter nonsense as to only be a notion of an infantile mind. He was part of the family. The evening news, his voice was somehow soothing. We saw bodies back then. Dead and broken bodies of boys fighting in Vietnam. Dad was in his chair shaking his head and Mom would be cooking dinner about that time. I could only stare at the TV. He was like a grandfather to me telling me "that's the way it is."

You can just back off Walter Cronkite was an American Icon and he will be missed! Cronkite accomplished more in his life than you could ever dream of accomplishing!!
