Actually got some time to chill with these guys when they were at scream out fest in tokyo...they're all cool as shit and down to earth and that makes them that much better of a band...at least to me

I think what's interesting is that this band has amazing talent, but they don't get nearly as much press coverage or recognition as they should. I think they have sustainability reminiscent of Underoath, and Jag brings something fresh and original vocally and lyrically. I don't think ASD has never been 'generic'. They are a band that produces what they want, without any trends clouding their artistic integrity. As for comparing them to the current 'scene' ASD is a diamond among rubies.
