Tootsie's Orchid Lounge, Nashville (Kid Rock)

Stumbled upon this late night surprise performance by Kid Rock. I stepped into the world famous honky tonk and was immediately swept up onstage with him. I think everybody thought I was Joe C or something.

Here you see the difference in the money and in the enjoyment. Kid is doing it for the love and enjoyment. For those that has never had the pleasure of Toosie's. When you walk in the door, the stage is on the right. At best a 4 by 5 ft. stage. Drums are on the floor. The band plays for tips only. That' s right. Tips only. Downstairs 50 max. Upstairs 50 max. That' s paying your dues. This was downstairs. Bobby just wanted to play. Period For free. lol That' s the Kid. Bless him.

@starr522 I had heard so much about Tootsies as a kid, so when I first went to Nashville about 5 yrs ago I couldn't wait to go there. It was still a Country bar then, so I really enjoyed it, but, the last 2 yrs I have been to Nashville...I stepped inside of Tootsies, heard the music being played, and stepped rite on back out. Tootsies has turned into a Rock n roll bar just like the rest of them. The only place I go now is Roberts , where they still play COUNTRY music
