I think John Zogby is overlooking the will and influence of the MICC. The last two elections were stolen, and this one might be, too. Obama wants to continue war for profit, so it doesn't look "hopeful" with out the intervention of the people in direct democracy (of some sort).

Someone who can say, "I don't believe in abortion but I believe it should be legal" isn't necessarily conflicted.
That person would believe that s/he doesn't have the right to *legislate* it for everyone else.
That is understanding the difference between church/state and shows a maturity of thought.
