  • I went to this Octet's 2011 Spring show last night- I was SO impressed. It was an AMAZING show. I know that Brett Goldstein's dad was recording it (my fiancee and I were sitting in the row in front of him, about five rows back, center), so it should be posted soon I should think. This group has a reeeaaally sweet blend, with a great mix of soloists, who, when performing solos, each have a very distinct voice, but you'd never know it, because the backs blend so well. Last night-VINTAGE OCTET! :)

  • @gobears236 Wonderful praise from you, Jason. You know you make me wanna shout! Throw my hands up and shout! ;)

  • One of the better renditions of this. The middle section was a bit weak, and you really need one voice at the end singing the final line: "any way the wind blows"...but great job. The soloist was very impressive at not only hitting the notes, but maintaining most of the expressiveness of Freddie's interpretation. Bravo!

  • That's my brother Ryan Tabura!!

  • i know one the the guys[:

  • I've watched this over and over again at least 100 times :)

  • Masterpiece!!:D

  • I've performed with the UC Berkeley Mens Octet back in 2001. They did song "Super size my Heart" ...hilarious.

  • Thanks for posting these. I had kind of a crummy seat that night so it's nice to have a good visual now!
