Running Shadowrun on Windows Vista

A week ago Tuesday 5/29/07, Shadowrun was released for both the Xbox and Windows Vista (only, doesn't work on XP). So far you'll see most players on the Xbox 360 version most likely because of the Vista system requirements. Strangely, it took us a week to find both version in the store to buy (got the Xbox 360 version the day after launch and the Vista version on Sunday). Do you really need what the Shadow system requirements say? This video answers those questions as well as how much extra hardware was required to be able to play.

nice setup, but im curious why you wouldn't just use the xbox360 to play, because that video card is lacking plus vista has a lot of bugs, i had vista on release for a while but it really crapped out my system so i swichted to mac... anyway have fun.

We already have Shadowrun on the 360 and the idea was to compare the Vista experience. With the addition of the better video card we've had less video driver related errors. Check my other videos to see former Vista related video error problems experienced.

I just got a GeForce 8400 GS from best buy to play this game on vista. It has helped the game out a lot but when I play online it still runs slower than it should. The thing that is strange is that the box says I only need up to 7800 series. Is the 8400 not good enough to play online?

HEllo sir,

um... when i start playing shadowrun,

i go training .when i go into the game i just see the scren colour turning yellow and pink over and over and i can hear the character walk and verything its just the picture and on my laptop(vista) when i get into the game the video is fine u can see my character than the game stops working then this error popup appears and i dunno what.Plaese reply for this ASAP. Thanks

Kk, I can run it fine on a ATI Radeon x1050 with 2 GB RAM and a *single* core processor P4 @ 3.4 GHz. That's more impressive than running it on some gargantuan machine like yours.
