In the Western press the conventional wisdom holds that China is emerging as a new colonial power in Africa. American University professor Deborah Brautigam has written a provacative new book, "The Dragon's Gift: The Real Story of China in Africa," that challenges that view. Indeed, Brautigam contends that China's "idea" of development may in the end prevail over the often fadish Western approaches to aid and development in Africa.

Deborah Brautigam you just don't know what colonialism was, you know how to say the word but don't know the experience, the degrading Belgium in Congo British in Kenya among others Portuguese in Angola and of course worst of all Americans in Liberia and Philippines( Philippines is not in Africa, just included to make a point)

No wonder so many Americans are brainwashed if you have such racially culturally biased professor. Why are people willing to pay so much money to receive such stupid higher education? What does her students get from her? Ignorance, arrogance, bias, hatred, racism, cold war mentality and a complete delusional world.
