Take a look at "iClone - Machinima Tech Showcase". iClone version 3 does support more realistic mapping and lighting options. (At least the Pro version. I'm not sure about Standard.) Sadly, I don't see many videos that take full advantage of the advanced rendering capabilities. (Sounds like there's two different modes: Realtime and Rendered output.) Would probably be overkill for YouTube, though, because the poor video quality wouldn't allow it to shine through.

The best of your work that I have seen from your post on the forum. Still not a proper movie, more a pop video but visually very good.
Now try expanding this and create a story, with dialogue and mood.
Good work.
It would better if characters were properly shaded and lit with environment mappings, and more realistic light mapping.
Does iclone not support these features for sure?

Hi acharad, Been using iclone over a year now, and I'm still not too sure weather if it does or not, never dug that deep, I really just wanted the characters to look like people I know. I'm just lazy :)

Hi Xtremeheelclickerz, I can't believe this old vid is been watched. :). Anyway to help. Blood done with a pack called " Action Movie Essentials and Partlcle Illusion" to great effects packs. Head done by, setting head Opacity 0 on one body, and body opacity 0 on another body and then just texturing to cover holes etc, and animating to look like falling off. It's a lot easier now with the latest versions of iClone. :)
