It doesn't pick any Wifi signal in my Acer Aspire 3690. Do you know what could be happening?

i tried installing this on my thinkpad t420 as a os which i would use when travelling (less hungry then windows). I download it, start installing it, and pretty much at the end, it crahses. Its installed, but the boot manager dosnt load (just goes to windows). Would you know what could be causing it to crash?

@oliverthedrummer it most probably does not support your device. Why don't you try using ubuntu, the light version? optimised for notebooks

my LG x140 netbook had splashtop pre-installed when i bought it (called smart on by LG). It booted very quickly, but the OS was pretty rubbish. Basically, I couldn't do anything since it required wifi connection and it didn't recognize my LAN connection. I ended up deleting it from the hard disk

I tried installing this but I must have found a way to screw it up because I see the splash top logo, and then it says "failed to locate hard drive" or something, then quickly reboots and does nothing. Any ideas?

yes try it out, might be an updated version! and hows the 02 joggler? never had it, but tried it in the shops and looked good!

@byles So i'm assuming you either have the traditional analogue gauges? or you don't like the standard one that came with your car? interesting lol. the google OS boots in about 8 seconds, as done ubuntu light, however the ubuntu system is not available for download, only available on purchased netbooks. Good luck with your idea! hope it works. send me a picture if it does! would like to see..
