Under The Sea - Choral Arrangement!

This arrangement of Under the Sea from the Little Mermaid was published by the King's Singers and performed by my choir! This is the Glenbard East Concert Choir at our 2009 Winter Choir Concert. Our director is Mr. Ross Heise, and he's AMAZING! He's retiring after this year is over, and we'll miss him a ton!

Have to say, these guys did a really good job, even with a piece that develops DID halfway through.

I love this arrangement apart from the bit in the middle where the composer's child clearly stuck scraps of music from about 6 other pieces all over the page. Am trying to persuade my choir conductor to cut, have someone sing the 'The newt play the flute' bit straight, then come back in with the beautiful big gay key change, but no luck...

My chamber choir did the same arrangement of that song, it's not as easy as it sounds lol, and it sounds pretty hard to begin with, and we pretty much worked on it really for the last three weeks before our concert so we had to use binders, but we put it on without a hitch and the audience loved it
