  • I sold that guitar last year...it was nice, good tone....I have a Jay Turser now and it sounds just as good.

  • Sounds like you may have improved its playability by sanding neck. I am pretty used to the way mine is. Anyway I am playing with both pickups. I like the nice mellow tone.....The pickups are GFS Vintage 59's and they are a little more defined than the stock ones, although the stock pickups were not bad....

  • My G string (3rd) always goes flat after playing it for about 10 minutes. Any advice?

  • @boxingin I sometimes have that problem also but not a BIG deal......I haven't been playing this one much anymore these days. My Les Paul has a similar tone and I've been playing that one alot.

  • @boxingin

    New nut.

  • Nice tone.. I have the guitar, but I switched out the neck, had someone help me sand off the really thick finish, and refinished it in a natural color with linseed oil. I'm such a bitch to my guitars. Anyways, I'm curious, are you playing with the neck pickup or the bridge or both?
