The Lakers owners have just been making terrible decisions i didn't see nothing wrong with Ariza they should have kept him, they should have gave farmer the chance and opportunity to start as a point guard instead of fisher,they should have never resigned Walton for that long and gave him that big contract and Bynum should be trade-able I'm sorry i would rather have Dwight than him so i don't have to worry about him getting injured too often but their focus of bynum.

You know what when the Lakers did trade Sasha i thought they were going to get someone better but no they went and got someone like Joe smith who is even worse and just wasted money to watch him sit on the bench just like they are going to keep wasting money been stuck with Luke Walton's whack ass and Derek fisher ain't no damn starter he needs to go to the bench and remain there they need a true point guard Chris Paul/Deron Williams, hell i would take Steve

That trade is a joke. No one in their right mind would trade rising superstars for declining semi-stars and prospects. However, I do agree that the Lakers should make a serious bid for Chris Paul. I've heard people arguing about Dwight Howard for a few months, but I think that CP3 is the better pick-up for the Lakers. Bynum and Gasol are fine. The problems would be getting the Hornets to trade within the Western Conference and Kobe's relationship with Fisher.

I think that people are over-reacting. The Lakers are far from done. Even with the roster that they had last season, they have a legitimate shot. Even before they were eliminated, there were signs that things weren't quite right. They just didn't seem to click. That's not a skill issue. I think that Kobe Bryant having a summer to rejuvenate himself is much more important than needing to make roster changes. After all, he missed A LOT of practices last season.

Since Gasol has been a Laker we had made the finals 3/4 times, I think Bynum needs to get traded. Taking off his jersey tells me he does not respect the jersey on his back and that he's a punk. If we keep Bynum he'll get injured again anyways.

Mavericks did not win in the paint, Mavs won because of the 3 point shooting and their bench. Lakers have No point guard, No bench. Fisher & Blake can't even guard Yao Ming's chair. Game 4, Lakers 86, Mavs Bench 86. Even Barea was able to torture Fisher/Blake. Get some athletic young for the PG, SF, SG positions, that strengthens the bench as well. We need a point guard that is actually not a liability, and a decent backup for Kobe.
