Betty's Trip on Dinner Train with Rick&Chelsea--NO RECIPE--

In this video, Betty and her husband, Rick, along with their daughter, Chelsea, take a ride on My Old Kentucky Dinner train. We had lunch on the 4-dining car train and saw some scenic views of Kentucky. The trip began and ended at Bardstown, Kentucky, with views of Jim Beam distilliery, Bernheim Forest, and fall colors of Kentucky along the way. During the train ride we enjoyed a delicious lunch, including agreen salad with golden spike dressing, cajun catfish, a prime rib sandwich with baked potato, a hot brown sandwich, Kern's derby pie, an apple dumpling, blackberry cobbler, and iced tea and coffee. The food looked great but the portions are big. I don't think anybody could manage the sandwich AND the baked potato.

@passionateaboutmusic A hot brown is a Kentucky sandwich. I have two recipes for the hot brown sandwich in bettyskitchen. The one from the Brown Hotel in Louisville is the authentic version. No, the train did not bother my stomach at all. I highly recommend it!
