In this video, Betty and her husband, Rick, along with their daughter, Chelsea, take a ride on My Old Kentucky Dinner train. We had lunch on the 4-dining car train and saw some scenic views of Kentucky. The trip began and ended at Bardstown, Kentucky, with views of Jim Beam distilliery, Bernheim Forest, and fall colors of Kentucky along the way. During the train ride we enjoyed a delicious lunch, including agreen salad with golden spike dressing, cajun catfish, a prime rib sandwich with baked potato, a hot brown sandwich, Kern's derby pie, an apple dumpling, blackberry cobbler, and iced tea and coffee. I hope you enjoy the ride! I will have a video upload tomorrow of one of the foods we had in our meal! :)

  • @bfgguns Thanks!

  • The food looked great but the portions are big. I don't think anybody could manage the sandwich AND the baked potato.

  • @ScrewFoxNews Yes, the portions were very large; we took some home with us!

  • hi betty when you was on the train and you showed your desert if im not mistaken you said you had a apple dumplin im not really sure if that is the correct spelling.. but anyways i was wondering if you already had a video on how to make it but i didnt see it so do you think it would be possible if you could make a video on how to make one it looks very tastey

  • @passionateaboutmusic A hot brown is a Kentucky sandwich. I have two recipes for the hot brown sandwich in bettyskitchen. The one from the Brown Hotel in Louisville is the authentic version. No, the train did not bother my stomach at all. I highly recommend it!
