i7 2630QM, 4Go de RAM, HDD 750Go, Bluetooth
nVidia GT 555m 1,5Go

The Graphic card is overclocked using MSI Afterburner and running nVidia 285.38 drivers.
Overclock values :
Core clock : 770MHz
Shader clock : 1540MHz

Game is set on HIGH settings, resolution is 1600x900.

PS : This video IS NOT about how I play Battlefield, it's about how it runs on this laptop.
I think it is important to clear this point since some people did not get this on my Crysis 2 video

    -please respond quickly :D

  • @ShadowFilms234 Yes you would. MAYBE two or three fps less

  • Hello, I'm concerned, will installing MSI afterburner void warranty??

  • @slimjimz I don't think so.

  • Great video! Personally I dont mind your playing skills...mine are about par to what you displayed in the video. ;P

Anyways, I will be receiving my M14x in the mail tomorrow. Same specs but with 6Gb of 1600 MHz RAM. Quick overclocking question for you:

With the over clock values set to 770 core & 1540 shaders, what temperature are you operating at and would this be a set and forget solution or should it be tuned down when not gaming?

  • @Siri325 I do not record my temps, sorry. As long as it's not "shit I just cooked my hand on my computer", it's ok for me. That said, with overclock, it's hardly even hot.

You can set and forget the overclock, I think, because Optimus automatically downclocks the graphic card when it's not fully used.

That said, I turn off the OC every time I stop playing.

  • if u overclock ur pc, will u be taking a risk on it?

  • @Xiaojiangshi78 i had the same problem. go to nvidia's website and download the latest dirvers, that should fix it.

  • @mttogo No, it hasn't. It improved in-game performance, that's it.
