This appearance was on VERY short notice (I had just appeared on the show TWO EPISODES earlier! I don't think I did a terrible job, but the segment was definitely marred by (a) no laugh track - the guest panelists simply didn't 'dig my jive,' and (b) a completely bungled ending, where I tried to cram a pre-planned joke into a place where it didn't belong, completely forgot several simple words like "jail," "great art" and "hardship," and finally realized that the joke wasn't funny to begin with. Please enjoy the uproarious "pathetic and sad" face I make at the end of the segment. It's "worth the price of admonishment!"

Mark, I'm a long time reader of your reviews (Just found the CJ Ramone interview) and, even though you don't like thsi appearance, I say Kudos! You've got a quick wit. It's one thing to write (I can write), this is a different talent, and it was a funny appearance.

these appearances are all likeable and as funny as these things can be. the extended look of incredulity(?) after "spaghetti incident" made me laff and rewind and laff.

Definitely not your best outing, but still pretty great! And the host really isn't all THAT much of a dildo.

Surely there are better shows with far less obnoxious hosts that could use you. On this show, you might as well be an E! correspondent.

I just rewatched all five of my appearances to date, and this one is really depressing. I didn't have anything at all to say! Just a bunch of lame one-liners. I'll try to be more substantive next time on, instead of focusing on punchlines.
