@MsPlaystationmaster Oh, fuck you. I love plenty of classic games. Here are five I can list without even thinking: Super Mario World, Final Fantasy IV (2), Super Castlevania 4, Excitebike, Super Ghouls n' Ghosts.

Besides, didn't you say you hated Zelda games? two questions:

1: Why waste your money on something you know you aren't going to enjoy after many efforts of trying.

2: Why do you keep telling everyone? Seriously.

Also, as for nostalgia: I didn't start gaming until the N64 was released, it wasn't till I started emulating that I really had the chance to visit past video game generations, (which was about 4-5 years after I got my N64). Despite that I hold all games on this list to high regard.

Well, for Zelda, it was more for fairness than anything. I was tired of saying that ALL of the games in the series suck even though I've only played some of them. Why do I keep telling everyone? Well, that's because it's fun pissing people off. :P I knew that this list would generate controversy, but I also hoped it would have people question their stance on games they've loved for a while. I see now that I was really only succesful with that first part.

@ExandShadow all though i do think that the games are overhyped i do think that you took the wrong aproach for the arguement. you see when people clicked on this video we thought you were refering to the actual market itself and features rather then the games on the virtual console. (not to mention you were thinking along the right lines when you thought you would receive hate for this video)not from me though since it is a fair opinion. maybe just incorrect title for the video.

For Link to the Past your complaining that there is a punishment for dying in the game. Did you expect to have the game warp you right back to the boss with full health? That kinda defeats the purpose of having health to begin with. To be honest, that's the only thing that bugged me this whole video.

@exandshadow this is your opinion so I have nothing to say against but I don't quite understand why you put smb3 #1 on this list I do think it is better then most mario games and it was one I grew up with as a kid along with other games on this list but I guess to each his own.

I can kinda understand this list as a modern gamer myself, i was only like 6 when the gamecube came out. however, the only one i really can defend is Mario RPG. it is a very good game, and i played Paper Mario 2 before i played RPG, and my only gripe with RPG was its length. I wanted that game to be SO MUCH LONGER.
