  • That compressor looks nearly identical to a Cimco 6 cyl at another rink I work at.

  • awesome. How reliable are they in the long term? Have the engines ever needed a rebuild? The big plus to that is that you'd have a better chance of surviving a power outage, at least if it's a directly cooled slab (no brine pumps). Even then, if you had CNG powered brine pumps, you'd be all set. Being 100% electric powered on our refrig, long term power outages are always a real fear.
