Let me ask one thing: Have bonafide multiple first-copies of the same newsletters been reproduced with Paul's signature in ink on the page of the objectionable quote? Such is the standard to establish authenticity in a courtroom unless there is video footage. Barring this evidence, it's reasonable to assume the media assault which has been ongoing since 1995 is based on simple fiction.

Ron Paul despises the "white supremacists" and advocated peaceful reform. Ron Paul was never shown these quotes and they could be complete fabrications and libel, or they could have been redactions from editors that Paul was unaware of. Paul has said that content was not in the newsletters that he signed or read and they're likely fake.
The Al Gore reference was intended to show that the media is quick to debunk a candidate's connection to bigots if they agree with his views.
