With the sun trying it's hardest to shine through the thin cloud, it was a great opportunity to go flying in the Robin HR-200. As you can see from the video, the visibility this aircraft provides is excellent.
Taxiing & T/O starts 2:45
Above the clouds 6:30
Piercing a small cloud 9:30
Contacting Bournemouth radar for rejoin 10:20
Final approach 12:31

  • Excellent video,,,You seem to be a very accomplished flyer...Do you do it for a living?

  • @davenicoll43 Thank you. Not yet, but I'm working on it.

Hope to get more videos up in the next couple of weeks.

  • hey man great videos. could you do a video while low flying.

  • @01brownman Depends on your definition of low flying. The Rules state:

A VFR flight shall NOT be flown:

    a) over the congested areas of cities, towns or settlements or over an open-air assembly of persons at a height less than 300 m (1 000 ft) above the highest obstacle within a radius of 600 m from the aircraft

    b) elsewhere than as specified in 4.6 a), at a height less than 150 m (500 ft) above the ground or water

  • Love the video! Pilot in training here in Mesa, Arizona. If I may ask, what device did you use to capture radio communications. Planning on getting a GoPro in the next month. Would love to record flights (that would be more interesting to watch later than a shaky iPhone ;) Again, great vid!

  • @XJonnyGunsX The audio you can hear is recorded on an Olympus VN-480PC Digital Voice Recorder which got from e-bay. The reason I use that model (which is an old one) is because it comes with an external lapel microphone. The mic is actually wired into the left earcup on my headset and held in place with very small velcro strips, so it records whatever comes through the headset

  • @psyleo7 What your seeing is contrails. It's a result of very hot engine gases being suddenly cooled by the extremely low temperatures up there. In this winds aloft forcast you can clearly see that the temperature at the altitudes of airliners is colder than -50 degrees Celsius! aviationweather gov /products /nws /saltlakecity Back to my point, I back myself up with facts. Condensation my friend, is simple to understand. for example: youtube.com/watch?v=QpWzhZpC_gk

  • How did you get the audio from your headset hooked up to the gopro? Thanks.

  • @oysterjamivxx So just because because people beleive in it, therefore it must be true?

Please provide me with the evidence that YOU use to convince yourself of these "chemtrails" as I would like to see the standard of evidence you deem appropriate to be convinced.

  • @Neutrinoghost whatever is ur middle name u should get these evidence urself chemtrails are spread since 1970 about so to me it was planned a lot before global warming u should look for people gathering falling chemtrails on youtube and contact each single people that might have an evidence in the world also, people dont always know but most often believe and relate and its much better then any dogma
