Danilo Gallinari flops after Pau Gasol screen vs. Lakers (May 6, 2012) + Sessions/Blake clutch 3's

Danilo Gallinari flopped two times within a few plays against the Lakers. Once off of a Pau Gasol screen (pau is not a very physical player) and once trying to draw the charge when Kobe kicked it to Steve Blake.

"While Sessions was answering question about Pau's pick/Gallinari's flop, Bynum chimed in from next locker: "Soccer swag!""

Gallinari went on to address TNT commentator Steve Kerr, who argued on-air that the play was a Euro-style flop, with "I guess Kerr hasn't played basketball for too long.""

On the Lakers game tonight, they were talking about how he cried to an Italian news site "of course we weren't going to get the calls against the lakers, everyone knows that." Maybe he wasn't expecting that screen, but he definitely sold it, and he definitely flopped on the next play!

it was a legit screen in my opinion, his feet were steady. and yes that is how you do a screen... if a screen is only legit when time is given to the opponent to react.. I call it redundant and pointless.. besides, look at him when he's pulled up by his teammate and assistant... you can obviously tell the difference... if it is that serious (as he was lying there for almost 1 min), you don't recover from that in a sec. face it, nugget fan, it was a flop

gallo isnt a big time flopper the biggest flopper on our team last year was by far rudy fernandez gallo does not flop that often this one just stands out because it was a game changing play

I wouldn't say I have seen all Kobe's games but I'd say I had watched enough.. And the fact is that, I had never seen Kobe falling on a ground due to a solid screen in a game. So I dunno about that.
