  • We have about 14 laying hens now and they lay anywhere from a light brown to blue to green to dark brown. Our egg cartons are always so beautiful!

  • my ameraucana gives me pastel blue eggs....they are so pretty..

  • Cool! I have the exact same chickens: buff orphingtons, rhode island reds, and ameraucanas! I get the green eggs, what color do you get?

  • my sister is 11 and she still sucks her thumb lol she so cute

  • i have 6 buff orpingtons and 8 gold laced wyandottes that are 2 weeks old today. all but 1 allows petting and a couple of each breed desire being in my hands or on my arm

  • @1fishfinatic3 Remember, true Ameraucanas should lay blue eggs. Otherwise they are just mutts.

  • finally, I know what kind of chickens my neighbor has. they had chicks exactly like the Ameraucanas and they moved out and left them behind so I had to catch them, and now I'm currently keeping them. They're pretty cool. I can't wait until they begin laying eggs.
