@jydx55 -(Sorry, long reply- supreme ownage here) As for the blowing out his voice part of your comment, why would he create a song that he had no intention of ever singing live?! Does that make sense to you, even as in denial as you've shown yourself to be? Maybe he should just play it last then. You know what I'm sayin'. You can't even deny it.

@jydx55 - He DOESN'T gay it up?? 1:41, 1:50, 5:52, 6:03 and once or twice more usually, if not for the orchestra here. I'm no homophobe, in case some clown uses says that shit, but it's totally unnecessary, what Davo does, and it kinda ruins his performances. He IS talking (how can you seriously think otherwise) and in the studio recording, doesn't his backing track only play right at the end??

Dear Dave, You will never succeed in gettting your hair out of your face. No matter how hard you try. Deal with it.

@chrisgonatakethepiss Dude, first of all you ARE entitled to your opinion but I just want to state some quick facts here. Dave Grohl is not "gaying up the song", he's not talking he's singing and if you listen to the studio recording of the pretender, there's a backing track where he sings there too. my guess for why Dave sings the backing track live is so he doesn't blow his voice out before the other acts. And trust me dude, Dave Grohl is a naturally talented dude.

Why does Dave Grohl ALWAYS gay this song up?? Look at the "are" parts and you'll know what I mean. Also the chorus is abysmal; he's taking the piss, talking it rather than put in his heart and soul like in the music video. The drummer tries all the time and puts Dave to shame. Pathetic. I love the official video though, and it proves that Dave is either 1) lazy as fuck, or 2) computers are only reason that he sounds good.

Fuckin rocks hard!

Why is that he always looks like he is trying to get the hair of his face, but never succeeds?

It's nice to see FF on the Grammeys but it's sad though that rock just seems dead. Most shows like this I don't know ANYBODY performing. Rock is still there, just needs a better outlet. Long live rock.

I hope they perform at this years Grammys. Hell, they have 6 nominations including Album of the Year.
