I don't see any conspiracy in any of this. Styles change. The original format went on WAY TOO LONG.

Jerry Lewis is 85. He's tired. He's out of touch. He is a difficult personality to deal with. It was time to move on.

One day all young people will be old. We, one day, will look around us at a world that does not look familiar to us at all. Then we will know out "time" in the place we call Earth is coming to an end.

It's best to accept this. Lewis will have to accept it.
