@urkomplex I wouldn't say the sound engine is that massively improved. It still needs loads of tweaking with eq and mastering before anything sounds alive and shiny without being dull. I've used every reason since 3 and there's no massively notceable difference in sound. The layout of the sequencer is 100% better in this version though!

@hypercatjohn yeah indeed its pretty hard to get live and crisp sounds out of reason i only use reason 4, for about 2 yrs now and its pretty hard to make decent sounds....i must say iam a bit disapointed that they havent added any new synth...btw i just cant find good video to see how is working with audio files done, can you for example just add wave file straight to sequencer like you can in most of other softwares?

@urkomplex you can, you can import a wav direct into the nn-xt, but it needs to be tempo based if its for a drum loop. so a loop thats set at 130bpm will be fine on a track at tempo but will fall out of sync within seconds if the tempo varies on either the loop or the track
