@stk1975 I understand, as I lost my uncle in the war, but I think when people say that, they mean it in a way to focus more on our similarities with Ethiopians instead of our differences in order to stop the fighting between us. That war was horrible and it shouldn't have happened, but us Eritreans AND Ethiopians need to move on from the past and focus on building our countries now, and becoming friends and even helping out each other.

in some of the comments i can see that Eritrean ppl and Ethiopain are in need of compromised reconcilation .....and i am one of the most patriotic Eritrean who paid both of my parents for the struggle of liberation, and i had bad impression about Ethiopians, but these days my mind is changing that we ppl from both country should reconcile with each other if Ethiopian fellow brothers do respect our soveeignity and dignity, ...but if they want continue with their stubborn ....then!!!
