Keep posting video updates on your friend restoration progress of his Caddy. Always great to reminisce.

Nope, not in or on?? But, the owner does have a period Federal Signal electronic siren.. And I'm in the process of taking his Federal Double tone siren apart.. It's in need of a few minor repairs to get it working again properly. He will be mounting it on the sloped roof front one day soon!

did it have a siren on it?

Yeah, your right. We came from the truck crossing and headed through the round about then to the ferries. Your right it is hard to miss :) Several folks waved along the way. Lot's of folks staring :o

Hmmm well I def saw it.. cant really miss it. Saw it along 8th going towards surrey/whiterock area by the round-about kinda. :S

dam it looks good
It belonged to Elmore County Ambulance Service in Mountain Home . It had been sitting around for a while and if you look around the ambulance service garages in our state , you just might find one . To my recollection , I have only seen this beauty once in Twin Falls in the early '80's , when she was retired but thank God they didn't decide to take it to the junkyard for scrapping like so many of them went .

@Medic83301, thank you for the info!! The fella that purchased her is still in the process of restoring her. I'm busy getting the double tone siren ready for mounting. That should sound sweet for sure!
I'll post another once she's up and running.. Probably later this summer!
Another save!!
