Big Valley At Dunsmuir

The Big Valley Cardinals won the battle of turnovers but the victory eluded them as they lost 24-20 to the host Dunsmuir Tigers in 8-Man football action Friday. The Cardinals record falls to 1-2 and the Tigers remain perfect with at 4-0. Dunsmuirs Colton Sordahl was the games leading rusher with 125 yards on 22 carries followed by Cory Knowles at 97 yards on 15 hauls. Bronson Hammons led the Cardinals ground attack, tallying 74 yards on 12 lugs and John Zachery scrambled for 73 on seven touches. Jeff Shultz led all receivers with 105 yards on five catches.
