Lightbar seems only "a little" oversized for the battallion
-
why do they put an eq2b on a ford suv? not the squad?
-
did they do away with the rescue truck as the squad
-
@Antonioxx81 Chicago has three of those. Plus a Spare(s)
-
Nice wheelen rumbler on the engine. Should add a FederalQ2b on the Engine
-
The Special Operations Buggy is designated 5-1-5, and Squad 1 appears to be using a spare apparatus (probably former Engine 23).

@Crazyfogfighter Interesting! I have never seen another dept. anywhere other than the Chicago area use green.. EMS in Indiana uses green on their POVs also but not on ambulances. I use one myself.
-
@grnkl115 All front line CFD chiefs cars (commonly referred to as 'buggies') are equipped with the EQ2b sirens. Most front line apparatus have them as well.
-
@ClayFire2 there are a whole lot more depts using green lights, but CFD is the most famous one.
In canada green is the color for EMS POVs, there are a lot of them

Full history* sorry!
The green light stuff is not normal coloring in the US you are not correct.. it is normal around the chicagoland area that's it.. it has to do with boating and tradition that's why there is a feel history just behind the green light on Chicago fire apparatus..
