they are not. middle eastern is the original and classic, for feminine form or belly dancing. tribal fusion is a subculture to this style of dance and is a contemporary offshoot of it, it is more aggressive in the body movements and much more versatile, being able to blend other styles into it and create a unique style for the individual.

Is Tribal Fusion and Middel Eastern Belly D the samething. Can you answer that with a Yes or no?

its a type of belly dance, it comes from ATS (american tribal style belly dance) and is a very serpenty style dance where the dancers wear very heavy make up and costumes with a lot of antiquey adornments.
