Do you ever use the scouring pad leaves or something else like it? I saw your conifer trees and what you did there but was curious about non-coniferous trees using something besides woodland scenics.

Also curious on the moss. Does that ever rot because? Is it a real plant?

@johnnyLikeVideo The moss is dried, never seen it rot or moldy. Even on my experiment pieces that are left in horrendous conditions.

I have crafter hole punches, shaped like a leaf. I have a maple leaf and a poplar type. They are big though at 3/8"

There are a few wild plants here that I can collect really tiny leaves off of. Dry them out, stir them up with some watered down green paint, and dry them out again. But, stale spices like oregano are easier.

Yes, cheap scouring pads work good too.

hey Kamloopian, I live in Peru and here they don`t sell cluster foliage on the stores, do you have any idea on how to make some kind of home-made cluster foliage? I want to make some trees :(

The stuff sold here is a foam rubber, dyed green and fine chopped, glued on to a green dyed batting (cotton? rock wool? don't know)

Try dyeing fish pillow stuffing, aquarium filter, or a cotton ball type stuff green. Then spray glue and sprinkle old herbs on it for leaves (oregano, basil, or maybe something natural from outside dried)

Other than that, like me, you'll have to pay shipping and order it from somewhere.
