Structural Integration Practitioner Ruthie Streiter of Conscious Body NYC explores the urban myth that Dr. Ida Rolf's method is excruciatingly painful. She also talks about how any discomfort felt during Structural Integration sessions is simply a necessary part of the transformational process.

Conscious Body, created by Ruthie in 2008 and located in New York City, offers education and healing for humans engaging in journeys of positive change. Ruthie is a Practitioner of Structural Integration, which is the invention of Dr. Ida P. Rolf. This is a specialized method of hands-on manipulation of the body that stretches and realigns the soft tissue in order to improve human structure and function.

Ruthie also teaches a unique style of Yoga that is informed and inspired by the Krishnamacharya lineage and the system of B.K.S. Iyengar. For more information go to: http://consciousbodynyc.com
